The Limarí Valley has a nature of extreme climatic and geographical transition. Its numerous natural and cultural resources captivated, thousands of years ago, mysterious nomadic tribes from the Atlantic and Amazon along the Pacific coast and its ancient oceanic forests. Its main settlement, the Enchanted Valley, is one of the most beautiful natural human refuges in Pre-Columbian America, located in a hidden semi-arid creek. It was used as an artistic, astronomical and ceremonial center for its attractive location, geomorphology, variety of slopes, flora and fauna as well as large stones with engravings, paintings and mortars that teach an amazing art, rituals and the cosmo vision of the oldest shamanic tradition of the Prehistory of the Coquimbo Region.
