There is a relentless search to know and learn in situ about the ancestral,
autochthonous and symbolic art of remote civilizations. At CasaMolle, Catalan visual artist Mireia Gil
Jordi has focused on presenting her art considering the ancestral cultures of the area, such as the molle
and the diaguita cultures, both found in the Elqui Valley.
This has been captured in different spots of the villa mixing different techniques such as pyrography on wooden doors, ceramic lanterns intervened with paint and reliefs, signs in clay, among others.
